หลังจากที่ iOS 6 ตัด Google Map ทิ้งอย่างไม่ใยดีไปแล้ว กลับให้ Apple Map ที่มีปัญหามากมายไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องความละเอียด ความถูกต้อง
รูปภาพแผนที่ที่บิดเบี้ยว ต่างก็ทำให้ผู้ใช้ iOS 6 ผิดหวังกันไปตามๆกัน (โดยเฉพาะคนที่ซื้อ iPhone 5 มาใหม่)
Google เคยออกมาประกาศเมื่อไม่นานนี้แล้วว่าได้ทำ Apps Google Maps ส่งให้ ทาง Apple App Store ตรวจสอบแล้ว แต่ยังอยู่ระหว่างตรวจสอบ ก็คงเหมือนกับ App Youtube ครับ ที่มีคนโหลดเป็นอันดับ 1 ใน App ฟรี อยู่นาน
มาถึง Google Maps ทาง Google ก็ไม่ได้นิ่งนอนใจครับ จะทำการจัดส่งเวอร์ชั่นบนเว็บมาให้ผุ้ใช้ iOS ใช้งานกันก่อน
วิธีใช้ก็ง่ายๆครับ แค่เปิด Safari ขึ้นมาแล้วเข้าไปที่ Maps.google.com จะสามารถใช้งาน Google Maps และ Street เวอร์ชั่น บน Web ได้เลย
เหมือนกับใช้ใน Apps นั่นเองครับ
นอกจากผู้ใช้เก่าจะหันกลับมาใช้แล้ว ก็ยังได้ใจผู้ใช้ใหม่ๆ ด้วยนะนี่ย

You can still use Google’s maps — on the Web. Visit maps.google.com and accept the offer to create a Home-screen icon for you.
You won’t get spoken directions, but you’ll get written directions, public transportation details, live traffic reports and, of course, Google’s far superior maps and data. (In two weeks, you’ll be able to get Street View this way, too, says Google.)
Pogue’s take on Apple Maps?
In short, Maps is an appalling first release. It may be the most embarrassing, least usable piece of software Apple has ever unleashed.
