นาย Danny Winokur ประธานฝ่ายพัฒนา Flash สำหรับมือืถอของ Adobe ได้ออกมายืนยันว่า Adobe จะหยุดพัฒนา Flash สำหรับมือถือบน Android แล้วแต่จะเน้นไปพัฒนา Adobe AIR และ HTML5 แทน
เขากล่าว่า HTML5 นั้นกลายเป็นมาตรฐานส่วนใหญ่ของ เว็บเบราว์เซอร์ทั่วไปแล้ว ทำให้เป็นการดีกว่าถ้าเราหันไปพัฒนา HTML5 สำหรับแพล็คฟอร์มบนมือถือแทน
อย่างไรก็ดี Adobe จะพัฒนา Flash สำหรับมือถือถึงเวอร์ชั่น 11.1 สำหรับ Android และ Blackberry เพื่อแก้ บั๊ก และปัญหาต่างๆ
สำหรับนักพัฒนา Flash ก็สามารถแปลงตัว Flash ให้กลายเป็น Native AIR แพล็ตฟอร์มใหม่ได้
สำหรับ ใน PC ก็ยังมี Flash ใช้งานปกติครับ
"Flash is a successful business for Adobe, and we can understand why they want to push it beyond PCs," Jobs wrote in April of 2010. "But the mobile era is about low power devices, touch interfaces and open web standards — all areas where Flash falls short.
